With the software LDMTool all laser distance sensors of the LDM series which have a serial interface can comfortably be parameterized from the PC. A simple user interface displays all available parameters of the currently connected sensor and all currently measured values as well as the state of the different output signals. A terminal window has been implemented for direct communication. Besides that, with the full version of the LDMTool a recording function (Log Window) and a graphical display (distance-time diagram) are available.

License model:

The LDMTool includes a 60 day trial period after fisrt installation with full functionality. After these 60 days it requires a valid license number to maintain access to the graphical data display and the data logging function. The license number can be obtained from ASTECH directly. The access to the parameterization and terminal window remains unaffected from the license number.
