ACM - Analog display unit

Analog display unit for 4 mA ... 20 mA signals

ACM is the analog display for the measuring rate of the VLM500. The ACM serves as an alignment aid for the configuration of a VLM for measurements on wires and thin tubes and profiles. For the measurement on such materials whose surfaces are shining or reflective alignment perpendicular to the direction of movement is required. In such cases, the ACM facilitates the alignment considerably.
The measuring rate is displayed when the measuring object is moved. When it is not moved, the intensity of the reflection is displayed. Thus, alignment is possible in both cases by aligning to the maximum value displayed.
For connecting the ACM the VLM500 requires an analog output with 4 mA to 20 mA.
