Description:
When cutting wallpaper rolls to the required length for sale, accurate length measurement is important. The VLM devices detect the length of the strip of wallpaper optically and contact-free and control the slitting system. Due to the accurate measurement you can abstain from safety margins. The contact-free mode of operation reduces the maintenance effort considerably. Creeping measurement errors caused by, for example, abrasion of the measuring wheel cannot longer occur.
