Description:
In filling plants, preforms for PET bottles are checked for their color before conveyance. At the same time, the allocation of the correct color of the bottle and the matching beverage is assured, and color deviations (batch drifts) are detected. Process-reliable color detection is ensured by using the through beam principle by means of optical fibers.
